Heartiest welcome To the Tihar Swanti & the 1128th New Year of Nepal Samvat!
Let’s celebrate the New Year and enjoy the Newa feast with music from Nepal at a special self-purification ceremony of “Mhapuja”.
You may be well aware that Nepal is known to be a “country of festival” as it is
a country of diverse people, different cultures and several languages. And you may witness festivals being frequently held at one or the other part of the country. Among them, the Tihar Swanti is known to be the well celebrated feast and festival in Nepal.
This is the 1128th New Year of Nepal Samvat. Come join us with your family and friends to celebrate the New Year and exchange greetings for happiness of good health, longevity and prosperity among all of us.
Note: Since all participants are required to carry a pass to enter and move around
the JICA buildings, our venue this time. Please register with us in well advance to get the pass. Without pass, entry may not be permitted. (Please see the registration form below).
